Re: Aerioa
Every player starts out with a generic story. This eliminates cliché sob stories such as the whole dead parents deal. Your likes, dislikes, looks, hobbies etc. however are free for you the player to decide.
As it turns out Mtchan's story has turned out slightly differently to everybody else. This was completely unintentional.
You are now 15 years old, officially old enough to be an adult. Ready to start out on your own journey. Adventuring is something your parents have pushed you towards doing all your life. Your mother and father both earned their living by questing and finding treasure and now they expect you to follow in their footsteps. They have kicked you out of the house with nothing but the clothes on your back and a backpack filled with food, a water pouch, two health potions and your favourite weapon.
Players
Skitz - Male, Death, Two-Handed Warrior
Gelan - Male, Metal, Mage
Slagathor - Unknown, Dark, Theif
Hiro - Female, Life, Archer

@Rene
Spiney Hills City is a boring place.
Even the name is very obvious because the inhabitants lack the energy to think of something creative. The people have become very lethargic, trading had become quite troublesome due to the large number of monsters breeding outside the walls. Spiney Hills City has no way of producing food thanks to the cold, hard soils and the lack of vegetation. The city was built into a very spiney section of the mountain range.
Your mother explained there was a terrible war long ago and the people built the city here to take advantage of the position, to you when you were young. Clearly you listened very attentively because how else would you remember this useless information.
The town is unusually quiet today. A bad omen, maybe? Doesn't really matter. Your parents won't let you back in not matter what you say. They're too stubborn.

You live in the business district of Spiney Hills City.
Nearby you find various general stores selling a variety of useless shit, some weapon-smiths, blacksmiths, the main inn of Spiney Hills and the very reputable Potion-Master's shop. He sells the best made potions in all of Aerioa or so it claims on his shop front. Your parents shop there regularly.

The windows have been barred shut, so has the door. Your parents have prepared for anything you might try. They don't want you to turn out like their friend's child who is still living with them at age 33. No, they want you to go and make a living for yourself. Maybe become a world famous hero or something?

The glass is reinforced, your parents replaced them while you were sleeping, months ago. And they're too busy... ahem sexing it up to notice the noise you're making.
@Syko
Magmaric City is an extremely lively city.
It's the capital of the blacksmithing/ weaponsmithing community. All the lava allows the blacksmiths to make some of the best armour the people of Aerioa have ever seen. Their armour is worn by all the lords including the King of Aerioa and the weapons are a popular commodity that is frequently traded to neighboring kingdoms. Which you would think is a bad idea, if the Metal Lord hadn't have made it so all the weapons have a very obvious fault only known to the inhabitants of Aerioa. It's weird how much useless knowledge you have.
You've been locked out of your home. For some reason all the parents in Aerioa are especially dickish today.

@Syko
You are in the Metal District of Magmaric City, where the blacksmiths and weaponsmiths are found. Towards the east is the Market District where you can can find the inns and general stores.
@Rene
Sadly the potion was wasted for nothing, your parents have even planned for that too with the no-stain paint they used when they first bought and renovated the place. Well they didn't plan for a potion to be smashed upon it but more for their nighty shenanigans that you thought were monsters trying to get into the house when you were younger.

@Syko
The closest merchant is the blacksmith's daughter from the Iron and Barb Blacksmith. She greets you with a friendly smile.
"There really isn't much going on. But I did hear there's a reward for the person who goes into the hellfire caves and slays the Hecklebeast mother. She's been getting her children to attack the mines and steal all of the precious antanorium. It's a pretty decent reward. You should go and ask Bathalme the weaponsmith across from us."
@Rene
You leave the city without checking if there's any people offering rewards for dead monsters. Which is good... I guess. You travel along the path seeing a whole load of nothing but dead, barren landscape til you come to some very gnarled and creepily bare trees. There you find a group of mean looking Spinecats. They seem to be playing around with a caravan of poor merchants. One's already dead and is being feasted on by some of the Spinecat's kittens. There are five, heavily injured merchants remaining.

Re: Aerioa
@Syko
You walk over to the weaponsmith abruptly not even saying goodbye to the helpful young lady. She huffs at your rudeness and mutters something to herself, turning away.
You enter the busy building and see a group hovering around a guy standing on top of a wooden crate.
"200 gold coins to whoever bring me the head of that foul beast," he yells. You can barely hear him over the roars of the crowd. One guy yells that he's a cheapskate and you cant help but agree. He's a very successful weaponsmith, 200 gold coins is pittance compared to what he should be offering.
"1000 then!" he quickly amends and the greedy crowd yells in agreement. It quickly disperses as your competitors leave to prepare.
@Rene
Your screaming cause the Spinecats to all turn towards you in alarm. You manage to hit one, smashing its skull in with your mace. Brains, shattered skull fragments and blood spraying everywhere. The Spinecats quickly retaliate, one of them slashing at you. It just scrapes your leg. Luckily. Just barely drawing blood. The rest have abandoned the merchants are now circling you. The merchants take this opportunity to make their leave while the Spinecats have their attention focused on you... The dicks. When this is over and done with, you should probably steal all their cargo. It would serve them right.

Re: Aerioa
@Mtchan
Merkiln City is Aerioa's underwater city. It's situated in the middle of a gigantic lake. It was built long ago by a strange water dwelling race that the Aerioans slaughtered and kept the survivors as slaves until they eventually died out. Geez Aerioans are a cruel lot huh.
You're not entirely sure how you know of this but you just do. Its bustling with life and you're current amongst the crowds. You might be stealing something but nobody can prove that you actually are. Your parents kicked you out earlier that morning, you stuck around observing them packing up all their stuff and just moments ago, they left.
The Dark Lord (XD) is currently throwing a festival in his honor. He's always done this, every year, even before you were born.
@Syko
You successfully steal a sword from a straggler and high-tail it out of there, barely managing to get out before everybody else. Using the trick an old guy in an alleyway taught you when you were 7, you magick the blade into a shiny silver liquid which you smear with your hand on the door. The liquid quickly hardens and soon you hear angry shouts. You sprint off merrily, making your way to hellfire caves.
@Rene
You successfully reanimate the corpse of the Spinecat who had their skull caved in by the mighty force of your mace. It slowly pulls itself off the ground, blood dripping down its mangled body. Is it bad that describing this is very enjoyable? You shake your head, wondering where that thought came from. You command the creature to attack the remaining Spinecats. It drags itself over towards one of them and that one charges back. They collide, biting, ripping and pulling at each others flesh til both lay dead at your feet. You while this has been happening, swung your mace around madly. You managed to break and crush almost every bone in the remaining Spinecat's bodies before your reanimated puppet killed one. They had been distracted by the zombie/ spinecat brawl which made them easy prey.
